I agree that one shouldn’t invest what one can’t afford to lose. However, investing in your education to receive an occupation that will eventually earn you income, is not a risk. For some, it may take longer, for others quicker, but what we learn and to at WA is a real business. At WA, we are lucky to learn from the experience of experts and yet we are not asked to pay thousands of dollars for our hands-on education and all the cost required to run a business.

I remember myself trying to figure out how to earn online… I’ve done a lot of research and come across many training offers which either were a pure scam or ran multiple of upsells, which were not even mentioned upfront. When you don’t know your final price to get what you need, I consider those offers as a scam also.
When I came across Wealthy Affiliate, I (as all of us) first had a chance to check it out from inside for free. This was so different and way better than everything I’ve seen earlier! And the fact that the Premium Membership opens up access to all WA recourses, was the key for me to upgrade to Premium within the first week. The only expense in addition to the WA membership fee is the cost of the domain(s) if you decide to purchase your own, which is highly recommended. The price of a domain is about $10 – $15 per year. Everything else is included in the Premium membership: tools to build your website, web hosting, training on content writing, and much more.
Affiliate programs are usually free to join. WA offers (at no additional cost) the Affiliate Programs platform, where you can familiarise yourself with many available programs and choose which ones you’d like to join. WA also offers its own affiliate program. And if this is not enough, you can also search for other affiliate programs outside of WA. Kyle, the owner, explains in his training how to find affiliate programs in your niche.

I’ve been using Wealthy Affiliate for a while, but when I first got on board with the annual payments, it was in the middle of November. A couple weeks after that, I saw the Black Friday deal and got a bit upsetti spaghetti, so to speak. I like the fact that you not only brought up the training available but the income potential. There are a lot of offers from internet marketing that I’ve looked at – none of them showed what their training covered. The picture showing the classes with their tittles has really picked my interest. Discounts that are offered look pretty darn good. A 49% off is really a very tempting offer. I’m taking a look at your other articles also. I will have to do some serious thinking on this in light of those offers. I know exactly what you are talking about. I found WA 3 years ago while doing my own research. WA caught my eye because all other companies were a cat in a bag, while WA reviews were concrete and solid: here is what you pay and here is what you get.
Even when a company had offered something for free, it was not a free entry and the ability to observe everything that’s available for a certain pay. They would promote “free affiliate marketing training” promising that after this training you’d be an accomplished affiliate marketer, but instead give you a free “intro to affiliate marketing” lesson and then ask you to pay for the next course, and the next one, and the next. Thus, not only you don’t know upfront what’s offered, but you also don’t know how much money you’d have to pay at the end in order to receive the knowledge you need.
The one price for the Premium Membership that opens up all fantastic resources at WA won my trust. I purchased an annual membership before I heard of the Black Friday deal. And when it came, this was an amazing surprise for me: instead of upsell, I received a downsell, even though I’ve already opted-in at the full price. How can I NOT trust the company that does so much for its members and is NOT greedy?

I totally agree that most programs sound better than they actually are. Wealthy Affiliate is really better than it sounds. It’s impossible to describe in words how much the company has to offer and how supportive the community is. One has to experience this for him/herself. That’s why there is a FREE membership – on its own, it won’t get you to the finish line, but it will give you a good sense of what you’ll receive when you upgrade to Premium.
The businesses people create vary so much and so do earnings. Wealthy Affiliate provides training, hosting, tools, security, support but people choose how to earn their money. Some choose to affiliate with Amazon, others affiliate with ClickBank or find other affiliate programs in their niche, yet others do drop shipping, e-commerce, etc.
Wealthy Affiliate offers its own affiliate program, and only those who choose to participate in it, receive their payments directly from WA. Though, there are ways WA pays to the members who are not WA affiliates but actively support the community by creating training, extensively commenting on other people’s posts, and more. These payments come in addition to what they do for their online business.

Oh, no! This isn’t a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. A real business requires focused work. However, the training that WA put together makes it very easy to follow and understand. They also automated many processes – so, that one doesn’t have to be technically savvy in order to build and manage own website. But of course, whoever chooses to launch a business online has to commit to learning and working.
